Juicing for Eczema - Find Out How Juicing Can Help Heal Your Skin

If you have eczema, it's very important to incorporate as much as 6-13 servings of vegetables into your daily diet. Most of which should include nutrient dense greens such as kale, cabbage, wheatgrass or celery. For some of you, eating enough greens may seem like an impossible feat. This is where juicing can be a handy tool to help you get the vegetables servings you need while providing you with nutrients for combating your eczema.

Remember, when juicing make sure to throw in as much green food as possible. Greens such as kale, bok choy, celery, spinach and cucumber are all perfect choices for soothing eczema. Chlorophyll, the rich green pigment in vegetables or "plant blood", will help to gently detoxify, while providing essential nutrients such as vitamin a, c, k, and e to quench your parched, dry skin. Simply consuming 2-4 cups of fresh, preferably organic juices every day will not only help improve your eczema, but your overall health as well.

On a more personal note, since I've begun juicing I've noticed not only improvements in my eczema, but my complexion looks clearer, my nails have gotten stronger and my hair has become more soft and shiny. So, I can not stress enough how important it is to supplement with fresh juices every day to get the nutrients you need. Most of us with eczema have multiple vitamins and mineral deficiencies so we need foods high in vitamins a, c, d to help support skin health and quicken the healing process.

I've learned over the years that eczema responds best to internal rather than external treatment. So make your main focus on a need for developing a healthier diet plan. Drinking plenty of fresh juices is an exceptional addition to that plan and I highly recommend it. Bare in mind though, that it may take some time for your skin to improve and that your eczema symptoms may get worse before they get better. Try not to overload yourself and work through your challenges when they're not too extreme. Patience is key as well as a positive attitude. Remember that there is hope for healing eczema. Start by experimenting with juices such as the one I've written below and you'll be amazed by the results.
